Department of Defense flat car DODX 40426 was just north of Fort Worth on BNSF Tulsa-to-Temple train H-TULTPL3-20. The 68-foot car had been built by Ortner in 1985 and was on its way from Fort Pickett at Blackstone, Virginia to Fort Hood, Texas. It had a CAPY of 301,000 pounds, a LD LMT of 301,700 pounds and a LT WT of 92,800 for a gross rail load of 394,500 pounds. |
