Number 2432 was built by Budd in 1950 as UP 1449, named PACIFIC WAVES, a 10 Roomette, 6 Bedroom (10-6) sleeper. It became Amtrak 2642, retaining the name, and was rebuilt in June 1980 to HEP and renumbered 2432. |
