This paint job looks like the old Oliver Mining scheme-they were in Minnesota on the Iron Range, and thsy did have Baldwin switchers.

This is an Oliver Mining unit. They bought it new from Baldwin in June, 1949. Model is DS4-4-1000(SC). US Steel Fairless works acquired some S-8 Baldwins from Oliver in 1980. I wonder if this unit went to them too, or if it was heading for trade-in or scrap? Info from: http://baldwindiesels.railfan.net/oim/index.html
