BNSF'S East Thomas Yar`  Contributor's Pick!
Alabama & Gulf Coast Railway GP40 4005 & New England Central GP40 4048 are sitting at BNSF'S East ThomasYard. These units were working on the Eastern Alabama Railway. I'm assuming the lease ran out on these units & the EARY had to send them back to their parent railrokd company.

Bernie Feltman General Very nice but it is missing the multiple unit hoses and mounting brackets on the front of the pilot 11/3/2009 9:24:12 AM
Nathan Rohdenburg General These units are not leased. They are owned by RailAmerica and are assigned to whatever road needs them. More than likely both will be headed to sister operation Alabama Gulf Coast (AGR) 11/3/2009 3:53:39 PM
William H. Davis Jr. General Thanks Bernie & Nathan. I didn't notice that they had the smaller actuating, release, airhoses were missing. Good eye. Thanks for the info Nathan, I wasn't sure that EARY was a RailAmerica owned railroad. 11/5/2009 1:42:37 AM

William H. Davis Jr. General Interesting, I was thinking maybe they went back to the AGR or at least the 4005 anyway 6/23/2010 9:58:17 PM
