| Originally built by EMD in 1995 as Illinois Central SD70 #1009, it rolled into the Canadian National roster in 1999 when CN purchased the IC. The black shroud paint scheme with the nose "I-ball" logo remained until sometime in 2016 when it was repainted in the CN red-white-black paint scheme.
