William H. Davis Jr. General Thanks Jim, I agree, the NECR scheme is one of the more attractive looking schemes of the regional/shortline railroads. I also caught the NECR 4048 while it was performing service on the Eastern Alabama Railway ( EARY ). The EARY leased a pair of the NECR GP40's & when I heard about that, it was a must visit to the EARY for a capture of the NECR GP40's. I do still need to visit the NECR up in the northeast though. I was with a friend for a few days visiting the MNA & the BNSF Thayer Sub, as well as UP's Hoxie Sub, but the biggest reason for the trip was for MNA 6/1/2011 12:16:15 AM
