| This piece of rolling stock looks very similar to transfer cabooses on Missouri Pacific and C&NW; perhaps other roads. Maybe this car was a tool car or used in some other capacity for M of W service. Corrections and other information welcome. Whatever this car's purpose, it was in the former ATSF yards in Albuquerque, NM on a Saturday afternoon in fall 1985. Additional note: Thanks to Ashley Rodriguez who stated this might have been ATSF Barstow boom car 206982. I've made the corrections. Also, I've now added ATSF 5048 which was used to handle this item. |
