| Built by GE in November of 1941 (#13169), this little switcher ended up at the Vulcan Materials plant in McCook, IL, during the early 1970's and still looking pretty darn sharp although it had no number assigned to it. Technically the "VULX" reporting mark is for the southeast division of Vulcan but VM, the correct mark, is not recognized here. This is a Jim Wozniczka photo. |
