This power came into the diesel pit just before sunset on Sunday night. Its from one of the many locals that runs out of the Galesburg Terminal. The array of paint schemes present gives a good history for the BNSF. Seeing this lash up brought a thought to my mind; at one time this lash up was all red and silver and marked for the Santa Fe racing hot stacks and Zs across the Transcon. Sadly the only thing that remains of Santa Fe decent is the cigar band on the nose of 557 with Santa Fe still visible. |
