| A CN local approaches the ca. 1887 Pembine union depot at the junction of the CN, former SOO, rails and E&LS, former MILW, rails at Pembine, WI on 30 Sep. '14. The local has just dropped off 17 cars for the E&LS and, after a brief pause and a horn blast short of the junction, will head for Goodman, WI with 9 cars. The CN MoW crew is replacing a section of rail on one of the interchange tracks. This awesome, historic depot was wantonly destroyed by arson perpetrated by juvenile miscreants on 17 Jun. 2019. |
