Here is a photo which first appeared in an article by Philip W. Klaus, Jr., entitled "The Newtown Square Branch." It was published in the Winter 1986-1987 issue of "The High Line" magazine, page 36. Partial Caption: "No. 3486, backing into the freight [station] at Llanerch. West side of freight station can be seen. Engine is facing Newtown Square. Photo by Don Kehl; March 24, 1948." #3486 is an H-9S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built in Juniata during August of 1913 and retired in April of 1950 after 37 years of faithful service.
