PRR 1931, H-9S, 1953         
Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, on 30 August 1953. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1931, an H-9S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an H-8B during January of 1911, rebuilt in Juniata as an H-9S in September of 1925, and retired in June of 1954 after 43 years of faithful service. Note the "Train Phone" antenna on the tender! ("LouisFols"; #5 of 21)
