iStation. Here is a photo showing a portion of 10th Avenue in Altoona, Pennsylvania, c. 1880. The four-story structure in the center is the PRR-owned Logan House, built in 1854. To its immediate left is the Passenger Station, to its immediate right is the cast-iron 12th Street Footbridge. Note the eastbound mineral train in the foreground, as well as the steam locomotive across the tracks that's waiting for its next assignment. The photographer's name and the exact date are not recorded..
