Local Over the Arches
This ex-C&NW stone arch bridge (there are actually five arches, one is off-camera to the left but it is obstructed by trees from the south side) is one of the real gems of southern Wisconsin railfanning. Its somewhat off-the-beaten-path location and the sporadic/sneaky nature of train traffic on the line from Harvard to Janesville, particularly westbounds in daylight, means getting a shot here requires some perseverance. I finally did so again almost 11 years after the last one (and that was badly backlit, from the north side in the morning). Now I have to come back and do it again when the sun's out! I believe this is the YJA65 job. I found them just finishing up their work in Clinton, and had plenty of time to get over here and set up.
