PC 4219, E7A, c. 1968
Lorenz. Here is a photo via Bob Lorenz that was taken near the Passenger Station in Crestline, Ohio, c. 1968. Shown here is Penn Central engine #4219, an E7A built by GM-EMD for the Pennsylvania Railroad as number "5859" in February of 1948, rated at 2,000 horsepower, and renumbered "4219" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. Looks to me like it's time to change engine crews. (Gift from Brad Mann.)
