| This appears to be one of many fan trips that Canadian National 4-8-4 #6218 headed up in its many years of service. Built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in September of 1942, it was one of the lucky ones to survive the scrapper's torch as it was retired in April of 1960 and donated to Fort Erie, Ontario in October of 1973. No exact location or date was given but I believe it may be near Orillia, Ontario, sometime around 1960's. Can anyone help with the location? This is a W.H.N Rossiter photo. |
