Here is a steam locomotive portrait of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #317, a Class K (4-4-0) "American" built in the Altoona Machine Shops during August of 1881, later rebuilt and reclassified as a D-7, and retired in February of 1905 after 24 years of faithful service.
