FM. Here is a duplicate 35mm B&W slide of a photo by Fred McLeod that was taken near Lewistown, Pennsylvania, on 9 July 1949. Photo Caption: "T-1's were always turning up on specials back in 1949 when this photo was taken on July 9. Eastbound troop train at 70 m.p.h." Shown here is an unidentified Pennsylvania Railroad Class "T" (4-4-4-4) steam locomotive pulling an eastbound troop train through the Juniata River Valley to Harrisburg and points East. This photo comes from a slide set entitled "Horseshoe Curve, Pennsylvania Railroad" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (22-42).
