| Here is a photo via Forrest W. Trittenbach that was taken near Glassport, Pennsylvania, on 8 September 1946. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8051, a B-6S (0-6-0) switcher built in Juniata as a B-6 during 1903 and later rebuilt as a B-6S. Note that the bell, electric generator, headlight, front marker lights, and main driving rods have been removed in preparation for scrapping. Williams Collection. |
