Title:
Waiting Patiently
Description:
DeLong's SW7 (formerly the sole power rostered under the name Chicago-Chemung Railroad, when it and the line were both owned by Seegers Grain) has been shuttling grain hoppers back and forth on this short section of ex-C&NW trackage for quite a few years now. Built in 1950 for C&O, it still carries the paint and number applied by the Chicago, Madison & Northern in the early '80s.

Title:
UP 2613
Description:
The UP power pulls partway across Oak Grove Road to clear the switch so it can reverse into the stub track and clear the way for DeLong Co. 202 to come get the grain MTs. I used HDR in Photoshop CC 2021 to add some life to the colors in this and several of the next few photos taken on this overcast day.

Title:
DeLong's SW7 moves in to take over
Description:
The emergency contact number blue tags on the crossing posts still say "Chicago-Chemung Railroad Corp." The reporting mark for this Seegers Grain-owned outfit was CCUO, but the engine is now lettered TDCX presumably for "The DeLong Company," which is also emblazoned on the backs of the high-vis vests worn by the crew.

Title:
TDCX 202 is flagged over Oak Grove Road
Description:
Besides the crew operating the engine, DeLong had flaggers stationed at each of the three crossings they would run over between here and the elevator.
